For a couple of years it can be all consuming. But then you blink and realise that life has been moving on around you and you're back at work, juggling parenting, relationships and career.
Sometimes women find themselves wanting to try something different, move into a different career, consider becoming self employed, do something they perceive as more worthwhile.
And sometimes woman want to pick their career up as soon as they return from maternity leave, working hard to gain promotion, directorship etc.
In my work I've had many conversations with women trying to make these decisions, negotiate maternity leave and find a way to juggle parenthood, relationships and career.
In my experience - both personally being a working mum for 19 years and professionally - having support and help during this time of transition has been invaluable.
If you are considering your future in the workplace, juggling career and parenting then I recommend spending some time and money for some Coaching & Mentoring sessions.
Later this year I will be offering a limited number one to one coaching and mentoring sessions.
Watch this space and I'll tell you more soon or get in touch and I'll add you to the list of those interested.
